—general contracting & repairs—
Historic preservation was the main concern when we agreed to take on this general contracting job at the historic Captain Whidbey Inn. Stair repair, reinforcements, sub-contracting tile work, general repairs, log replacement and chinking where needed, along with solid communication with management made this job flow. Not to mention a full redesign of the dining room by opening it up and custom building a gorgeous new bar that has a stellar view of Penn Cove and the room at large.
We have said it before and we will say it again, we believe in taking photos of our process to best share with you what ultimately goes into creating the work we do. We fell a little short in our archiving on this job and we plan on updating with new polished images soon. The great thing about commercial jobs is you can visit and see the work first hand!
The dining room, custom built bar and lagoon suites all prove to be in keeping with preserving the historic site that this Inn is known for, charming, rustic and warm. This place got the love it has bee deserving for a long time and we have a feeling this isn't the end of upgrades for Whidbey Island's historic Captain Whidbey Inn.
